About the role
- Coordinate end-to-end committee reporting lifecycle for sub-executive risk committees, including agenda-setting, supporting report production, review and occasional presentation
- Maintain committee forward plans and engage stakeholders to provide timely notification of paper requests
- Organise, collate and review risk papers, reports and presentations; ensure timely input from relevant departments and Risk teams
- Liaise with Company Secretariat to maintain committee action logs and assist senior Risk stakeholders with updates
- Assist with production and analysis of risk MI for committee reporting
- Champion corporate governance for the Risk Reporting Function: maintain terms of reference, document processes, maintain audit trails and capture data points
- Input to design and development of reporting across all risk sub-categories
- Drive use of data in decision-making by analysing existing metrics and data
- Ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness of risk reporting to committees
- Manage relationships across all three lines of defence and communicate with committee chairs for punctual circulation
Requirements
- Previous demonstrable experience in organising, designing and facilitating reporting risk
- Applicable knowledge of risk management in the financial services
- Good stakeholder management and relationship building
- Analytical and logical skills; exemplary attention to detail
- Awareness of good corporate governance principles and practices
- Adaptable to changing priorities with strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
- Comfortable with handling, transforming and visualising large amounts of data
- A proven problem solver who is committed to continuous improvement
