Account Executive

• Handle all facets of accounts as designated by the assigned (Sr.) Commercial Risk Advisor.
• Fully communicate ALL/ANY potential issues to the assigned (Sr.) Commercial Risk Advisor and accept guidance/direction from assigned (Sr.) Commercial Risk Advisor as needed.
• Conduct current policy review with (Sr.) Commercial Risk Advisor.
• Assist in gathering prospective client information by meeting with the client.
• Collect or manage information such as loss runs, prepare ACORD applications for market submission and answer questions from marketing team.
• Ensure ITVs are as accurate as possible.
• Prepare for and gather pre-renewal information by meeting with each client.
• Collect or manage renewal information such as loss runs, prepare ACORD applications for market submission and answer questions from marketing team.
• Assists (Sr.) Commercial Risk Advisor with renewal premium negotiations with underwriter and obtains quotes via carrier portals or online submission platforms if appropriate.
• Sends Producer fact sheet to (Sr.) Commercial Risk Advisor.
• Uses Sagitta to create renewal application.
• Submits renewal to incumbent carrier.
• Maintains the diary system.
• Review quotes, assist with preparation and presentation of new and renewal proposals, quotes, and presentations (oral and written), follow up letters, etc.
• Imports presented final proposal into ImageRight Issue binders & invoices.
• Completes policy checking on items returned from PATRA, responsible for review of contracts and certificates.
• May be required to attend client meetings, training, and conferences.
• Initiate referrals to other departments as needed.
• Achieve trusted advisor status with clients and (Sr.) Account Managers.
• Respond to questions regarding policy checking discrepancies.
• Maintain contact with Carriers.
• Attend professional procedure meetings, general, client retention and Marketing meetings.
• Serve as back up to (Sr.) Account Managers when requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Commercial Account Executive

Insurance

• Review and process new business and renewal policy checking, endorsements, audits, and direct and agency bill invoicing.
• Communicate with Account Manager or Executive, when appropriate, any account concerns including but not limited to, renewal or audit increases, errors in policies or endorsements.
• Communicate with carriers/underwriters regarding errors/corrections to policies and/or endorsements.
• Issue standard letters to accompany policies, endorsements or audits being sent to clients.
• E-deliver these documents or upload to Passport when appropriate.
• Maintain client files, tasks and to do list in Sagitta & ImageRight, including documenting pertinent written correspondence and/or verbal conversations in ImageRight.
• Attend mandatory in-house training as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Education and Experience: High School diploma required, College Degree preferred.
• Insurance or office experience preferred.
• Property/Casualty License/Ability to become licensed in designated time frame.
