About the role
- Provide expert advice to customers on all aspects of tiles
- Prepare estimates and quotations for property owners and contractors
- Maintain customer relationships through regular on-site visits
- Persuade customers and generate orders
- Coordinate closely with sales management and the internal sales team
- Negotiate prices with suppliers and customers as a fair and reliable partner
Requirements
- Commercial training in wholesale/foreign trade or equivalent education, or relevant professional experience
- Experience in field sales or as an outside sales representative is an advantage
- Solid experience in selling construction materials is desirable
- Valid driving license (Class B or equivalent) required
- Strong communication skills in dealings with customers and suppliers
- Excellent team player with experience in an SME (small- to medium-sized enterprise) environment
- Ideally, an existing regional network in the construction and building materials sector
