  • Managerial experience

  • Ability to empower a team to provide great customer service
  • Ideally, a background in Building Merchants, DIY, or a related field
  • Great customer service skills
  • Experience managing and working within a small team
  • Ability to build effective relationships with suppliers
  • Ability to lead a team and make Health & Safety a priority
  • A good knowledge of building materials is preferred; this may come from roofing, plumbing, builders’ merchants, trade merchants, or a DIY outlet
