QA Engineer

• Lead product testing programs for all new product launches, including stability, compatibility, packaging validation, AQL inspections, and production surveillance testing.
• Establish and maintain AQL standards and support factories in meeting Starface requirements.
• Review, approve, and monitor COAs, test reports, batch records, and release documentation.
• Support packaging development and engineering, advising on technical requirements, specifications, test parameters, and risk considerations (cosmetic packaging preferred).
• Partner with PD and Packaging to validate component design, functionality, material compatibility, and manufacturability.
• Oversee packaging testing requirements (drop tests, leakage, transit testing, seal integrity, etc.) and ensure successful qualification before commercial production.
• Manage supplier quality programs, including onboarding, qualification, and ongoing performance evaluation of manufacturers, fillers, and material suppliers.
• Coordinate and/or conduct third-party audits and assessments; track findings, corrective actions, and follow-up.
• Establish and maintain supplier scorecards and develop corrective action plans as needed.
• Lead non-conformance investigations, root-cause analysis, and CAPA activities to drive sustainable improvements across suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain and enhance systems for quality metrics, deviation tracking, risk assessments, and continuous improvement programs.
• Identify trends and develop proactive strategies to prevent quality issues before they arise.
• Oversee complaints intake, review, categorization, trending, and reporting, partnering with CX to ensure timely and meaningful responses.
• Lead regulatory and quality review of escalation cases and manage adverse event reporting processes.
• Translate consumer insights into actionable product or process improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date product registrations, including MoCRA compliance, OTC drug listings, and medical device establishment and product listings.
• Support ingredient, label, and claims reviews, ensuring compliance with domestic and international regulations.
• Review and approve packaging, artwork, and label copy for regulatory accuracy.
• Partner with external regulatory agencies, consultants, suppliers, and retailers as needed for filings and documentation (ILs, SDS, COAs, certifications, etc.).
• Provide training and updates to internal teams on relevant regulatory changes (MoCRA, Prop 65, global cosmetics regulations, etc.).
• Serve as a regulatory representative in cross-functional meetings, offering insights related to compliance, risk mitigation, and technical guidance.

• Edit primarily in Adobe Premiere Pro—cutting, rearranging, and polishing footage to feel clean, smooth, and engaging
• Add music/audio, layering and adjusting as needed
• Export final videos in the correct specs for digital platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
• Use Photoshop for light design, photo and graphic editing, and asset resizing; bonus if you’re familiar with After Effects (or excited to learn)
• Edit both self-shot and external creator content: trimming, adding captions, overlays, CTAs, and preparing for final post
• Collaborate with the copy team to finalize messaging before publishing
• Own daily content posting across all social channels including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
• Follow the content calendar closely and prep posts with correct assets, captions, sounds, tags, and thumbnails
• Manage TikTok Spark Ads: collect Spark codes, tag products, update ad briefs, and confirm with the ads team
• Double-check for any errors (typos, broken links, etc.) and flag/fix ASAP
• Monitor and align all content and ad briefs across platforms to ensure consistency (including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
• Support any updates or changes to briefs and decks in real time
• Keep all documentation and content plans up to date and ready for launch
• Join brainstorms with your own research, ideas, and energy, contributing ideas that align with Starface’s brand
• Source potential contracted creators or artists to help create evergreen and campaign content that is aligned with our tone and community
• Speak up, think outside the box, and help push creative boundaries
• Partner cross-functionally with our Influencer, Community, and Creative teams to align our brand goals with social content strategy
• Capture fun, fast, and authentic moments that feel native to TikTok and Reels, including shooting lo-fi, organic video content with an iPhone
• Understand good lighting, angles, and what resonates on social media

Social Media Coordinator, Contract

Accounting Manager

• Partner closely with the Head of Accounting and the finance team to support core corporate accounting functions including financial reporting, technical accounting, and auditing
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring the accuracy of books and records
• Conduct account reconciliations across all balance sheets and P&L accounts
• Prepare timely, accurate financial and operational reporting across departments
• Partner with the finance team to maintain alignment between reporting and analysis and Starface’s strategic goals
• Support execution of day-to-day, month-end, and year-end accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and the general ledger
• Ensure compliance with ASC and GAAP standards
• Support management of tax filings (corporate, sales, payroll) and coordinate with external partners on audits, insurance, and tax functions
• Heavily utilize NetSuite, partnering with the team to drive data migration and system enhancements
• Partner the Accounting & Finance team to further develop accounting processes and controls to support long-term growth
• Assist in managing cost of goods sold, prepaid inventory, and inventory reconciliation, providing leadership with ad-hoc pricing/margin analysis
• Partner the Head of Accounting to deliver key insights and respond to requests
• Act as a trusted partner to cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and communication
