About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead international transportation operations for green coffee shipments, ensuring reliable movement from origin to global destinations
- Manage ocean freight execution across multiple trade lanes
- Monitor shipping demand, capacity trends, and transportation risks
- Support carrier strategy, routing optimization, network planning, and transportation sourcing initiatives
- Analyze transportation performance and communicate operational risks, market conditions, and network insights
- Partner cross-functionally to enhance reporting
- Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on service, visibility, operational efficiency, and cost optimization
- Serve as the transportation subject matter expert, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in international transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or global supply chain operations
- Experience supporting agricultural commodities, food & beverage, or CPG supply chains
- Knowledge of global ocean transportation markets, carrier capacity planning, and network optimization
- Experience with transportation sourcing, carrier performance management, and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Familiarity with real-time visibility platforms and supply chain analytics tools
