About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead international transportation operations for green coffee shipments, ensuring reliable movement from origin to global destinations
Manage ocean freight execution across multiple trade lanes
Monitor shipping demand, capacity trends, and transportation risks
Support carrier strategy, routing optimization, network planning, and transportation sourcing initiatives
Analyze transportation performance and communicate operational risks, market conditions, and network insights
Partner cross-functionally to enhance reporting
Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on service, visibility, operational efficiency, and cost optimization
Serve as the transportation subject matter expert, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in international transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or global supply chain operations
Experience supporting agricultural commodities, food & beverage, or CPG supply chains
Knowledge of global ocean transportation markets, carrier capacity planning, and network optimization
Experience with transportation sourcing, carrier performance management, and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
Familiarity with real-time visibility platforms and supply chain analytics tools
