About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Understand complex requirements for automation and robotics solutions in dynamic warehouse environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, develop, test, debug, and implement automation systems
  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases for robotic and automation software
  • Conduct functional and performance testing of Android-based applications using Android Studio
  • Troubleshoot and debug software and hardware issues in test and production environments
  • Validate Warehouse Management System integration points, workflow accuracy, and data integrity using PKMS and MAWM
  • Conduct end-to-end testing of conveyor systems and warehouse automation equipment
  • Support testing, validation, and deployment of custom software in simulation and live production environments
  • Participate in on-site installation, commissioning, testing, and verification of automation systems
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting and support during on-site deployments and go-lives
  • Generate test results, implementation guides, and support documentation
  • Maintain understanding of warehouse operations, logistics workflows, and supply chain impacts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on experience with Android Studio, including app testing, log analysis, and performance profiling
  • BS or MS in an analytical field such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science, with 2+ years of industry experience
  • 4+ years of warehouse or supply chain operations experience may substitute for a degree
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, especially PKMS, MAWM, or similar platforms
  • Experience with RDBMS such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, or Snowflake is a plus
  • Experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Experience developing applications in Python or Java is a plus
  • Familiarity with conveyor systems and warehouse automation technology
  • Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, IT, and operations teams
  • Willingness to travel to warehouse sites for implementation and support
  • 50% domestic travel for project and system implementations
