About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage Loss Prevention initiatives and programs across 40–50+ retail locations at store, District, and Regional levels
- Deliver programs through in-person and virtual oversight, with approximately 50% overnight travel
- Execute and evaluate Loss Prevention solutions using data analysis, exception reporting, audits, training, and investigations
- Utilize and support CCTV, EAS, access control, and burglar alarm security systems
- Monitor fraud prevention measures and conduct internal and external investigations through conclusion
- Collaborate with Store Operations, EHS, Human Resources, Associate Relations, Legal, Risk Management, and Corporate EHS/Safety
- Conduct workplace violence and Ethics investigations
- Support operational efficiencies and minimize financial loss involving inventory, merchandise protection, cash revenue, and theft exposure
- Execute LP operational, merchandise protection, safety, and target store audits
- Oversee participation and compliance with the US Retail Target Store Program
- Provide training on operational standards, Key Holder responsibilities, asset management, inventory control, cash office controls, and fraud trends
- Use ThinkLP, Agilence, and Power BI to analyze data and provide reporting and analytics
- Manage workplace violence incidents, including threat assessment, crisis management, and law-enforcement coordination
- Manage programs to reduce workers’ compensation costs and improve workplace safety
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory safety training
- Analyze accident data, develop root-cause strategies, and support execution of US Retail safety programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with industry certification such as LPC, CFI, or CFE
- Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive District-level or higher Loss Prevention experience with supervisory responsibilities
- Experience successfully implementing and executing Loss Prevention, Shortage, and Fraud Control programs
- Experience developing and implementing Safety Programs to ensure a safe workplace and reduce and control workers’ compensation costs
- Proficiency in LP systems and exception-based reporting and analysis, including Agilence, ThinkLP, Power BI, CCTV, EAS, Ethics Point, Alarm Management, and Origami reporting systems
- Ability to travel overnight approximately 50% based on geography
- Knowledge of OSHA and other regulatory safety-training requirements
