About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Source Talent: Know where to find the talent for each role (Exempt and non-exempt) and how to effectively communicate with passive candidates. Encourage hiring managers to consider internal candidates and to support a diverse pipeline for role.
- Recruitment Marketing: Maintain active candidate pipelines and communicate relevant materials. Utilize silver medalists as source for future communications. Utilizes social media to promote roles. Clearly articulate Staples employer value proposition and the opportunity this creates for potential candidates to advance their career at Staples
- Manage Candidate Experience: Pro-actively communicate with candidates throughout the process. Seek other opportunities for candidates across company if not a fit for current role.
- Assess & Hire Talent: Use behavioral based interviewing techniques to assess candidates and technology to effectively screen candidates where applicable.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of full life cycle recruiting
- 1+ years of using sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean searches)
- Significant understanding of using ATS, CRM and Excel
- Understanding of current employment laws including OFCCP's guidelines for fair hiring practices
