About the role

  • Lead and manage a team of B2B Sales Consultants focused on prospecting and closing small to medium-sized business accounts.
  • Drive accelerated revenue growth and deliver annual new business targets through effective leadership and strategic sales initiatives.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop associates in both 1:1 and group settings to reinforce professional selling skills and strategy.
  • Utilize Next Generation Selling Tools and processes to ensure your team works efficiently and productively.
  • Hire, retain, and develop top talent while managing underperformers to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Monitor emerging marketplace trends and use data to inform sales strategy and execution.
  • Attend virtual and in-person appointments alongside your associates to support their sales activities.
  • Hold regular team meetings and one-on-ones to foster communication and collaboration.
  • Execute sales strategies developed by Corporate and ensure associates are up-to-date on all relevant communications.
  • Negotiate custom pricing programs for prospects and collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Pricing, Recruiting, HR, and Sales Ops to achieve shared solutions.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, open communication, collaboration, goal achievement, and accountability

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Five or more years of successful sales or sales management experience.
  • Management skills for mentoring, coaching, and optimizing sales personnel.
  • A strong drive and desire to win, with a results-oriented and self-motivated approach.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and passion for leading others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced sales and negotiation skills, with a high level of business acumen.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer and technology competence.
  • Strong management skills focused on recruiting, retaining, and developing sales professionals.
  • A collaborative mindset that brings together ideas and solutions for team and customer success.
  • An inclusive attitude that seeks common ground, listens to others, and advocates for the best outcomes.
  • Ability to drive performance and accountability across your team.
  • Experience in adapting strategies based on emerging trends and changing market conditions.
