About the role

  • Independently manage ongoing financial accounting
  • Review, code, and post incoming and outgoing invoices
  • Reconcile the general ledger and subledgers
  • Contribute to the in-house accounting project and support the setup of financial and accounting processes
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
  • Support controlling through budget vs. actual comparisons and regular reports
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses and reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain and develop internal reporting

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance and accounting, or completed commercial/vocational training
  • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger and subledger accounting, with experience in monthly and annual closings
  • Confident user of DATEV and Excel; experience with Power BI is a plus
  • Excellent German and good English skills; additional languages are a plus
  • Ability to work in a structured, independent, and reliable manner
