Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a team of design professionals and technicians
Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams
Perform business development/application tasks and collaborate with staff to increase project wins
Assist senior engineers/designers with developing and managing project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule
Conduct quality assurance and quality control on assigned projects
Develop project management plans for unique and complex projects
Responsible for successfully establishing projects to achieve budget, schedule, and contractual obligations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Minimum of 15 years related experience in project management, preferably for water/wastewater projects
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license within 6 months
Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
Ability to perform mass & energy balance and process equipment sizing calculations
Understanding of local and regional jurisdictional codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
