About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a team of design professionals and technicians
- Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams
- Perform business development/application tasks and collaborate with staff to increase project wins
- Assist senior engineers/designers with developing and managing project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control on assigned projects
- Develop project management plans for unique and complex projects
- Responsible for successfully establishing projects to achieve budget, schedule, and contractual obligations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 15 years related experience in project management, preferably for water/wastewater projects
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license within 6 months
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
- Ability to perform mass & energy balance and process equipment sizing calculations
- Understanding of local and regional jurisdictional codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
