About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform Roadway and Highway geometric design
- Model projects in MicroStation using the latest software (OpenRoads)
- Prepare construction documents and cost estimates under the guidance of a licensed professional engineer
- Perform field work to collect data or observe projects under construction
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) minimum
- EIT certification in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months is required
- Experience with OpenRoads, Microstation and Civil 3D is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to create and interpret sketches, drawings, and various exhibits
