About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Forecast and organize project team for design, development, production and project document delivery
- Coordinate with consultants, team members and the client
- Successfully execute projects by following Stantec's and Owner’s protocols and procedures in order to reach the best solution
- Develop strong client, consultant and collaborator relationships
- Understand budget, code and jurisdictional requirements
- Provide mentorship and guidance to project teams
- Collaborate on project fee development and project proposals
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in complex civic projects
- Degree in architecture from an accredited university
- Must be licensed in California or attainable within one year
- DBIA certification preferred
- Experience with multiple project sizes, with a concentration in large and complex projects
- Skilled in architecture and detailing as well as proficient in construction administrative processes
- Proven effectiveness coordinating with contractors, architectural teams, and consultants
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Requires understanding of project software: Revit, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.
- Successful at leading and organizing a team of multiple disciplines and consultants
- Confident with public speaking and networking
- Excellent writing skills
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented and organized with proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Available for occasional travel within the US.
