About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Forecast and organize project team for design, development, production and project document delivery
Coordinate with consultants, team members and the client
Successfully execute projects by following Stantec's and Owner’s protocols and procedures in order to reach the best solution
Develop strong client, consultant and collaborator relationships
Understand budget, code and jurisdictional requirements
Provide mentorship and guidance to project teams
Collaborate on project fee development and project proposals

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in complex civic projects
Degree in architecture from an accredited university
Must be licensed in California or attainable within one year
DBIA certification preferred
Experience with multiple project sizes, with a concentration in large and complex projects
Skilled in architecture and detailing as well as proficient in construction administrative processes
Proven effectiveness coordinating with contractors, architectural teams, and consultants
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Requires understanding of project software: Revit, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.
Successful at leading and organizing a team of multiple disciplines and consultants
Confident with public speaking and networking
Excellent writing skills
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
Detail oriented and organized with proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
Available for occasional travel within the US.
