About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead work on medium and large projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Professional Engineering (PE) and Structural Engineering (SE) license is required
  • Requisite knowledge and application of structural design codes, standards, and applicable building codes
  • Strong knowledge of structural systems, seismic and wind design, construction means and methods, materials, and industry standards
  • Deep understanding and working knowledge of steel framing, concrete framing, and wood framing systems
  • Ability to communicate ideas to Architects, Engineers, and Owner clients effectively
  • Ability to check work of others for accuracy and completeness
  • Ability to participate and collaborate in project team settings
  • Experience with modeling software (Autodesk Revit)
  • Experience with industry standard Structural Engineering software (CSI, RISA, RAM, etc.)
  • Experience with Big Room meetings and HCAI design experience
