About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with construction monitoring, field surveys, fossil collection, data collection, and other field tasks
- Detailed and accurate field data collection and daily progress reports
- Communicate responsively with Stantec supervisors
- Assist with drafting portions of reports if required
- Adhere to ethical business practices and safety procedures
- Maintain professionalism to colleagues and clients
Requirements

- bachelor’s or master’s degree in paleontology, geology, or biology (or similar degree)
- minimum of 2 years’ field experience in paleontology and sedimentary geology can substitute for academic training
- previous paleontological construction monitoring experience is desirable
- travel is required
- night work is required
- able to work outdoors and under various weather conditions
