About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Reporting to the Project Delivery Business Leader (PDBL), accountable for advancing technical excellence, strengthening quality, and building technical capability across the Geospatial discipline
Work collaboratively with Regional Delivery Leaders (RDLs) to ensure technical excellence is embedded into project delivery
Establish and communicate discipline-specific technical standards
Promote consistent QA/QC processes and technical review practices across projects
Provide technical oversight and guidance on complex or high-risk projects
Work closely with delivery leadership to ensure appropriate technical expertise is applied to projects
Support project teams by facilitating access to appropriate technical capabilities
Contribute to major pursuits and key project reviews
Build and lead a connected, high-performing technical community across the discipline
Drive adoption of digital tools and innovative delivery approaches
Represent the organization in industry forums and promote thought leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline
Typically 15+ years of relevant experience
Recognized technical expertise within an infrastructure discipline (Geospatial)
Proven experience in complex project delivery and technical leadership
Demonstrated ability to lead across regions and influence without direct authority
