About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Reporting to the Project Delivery Business Leader (PDBL), accountable for advancing technical excellence, strengthening quality, and building technical capability across the Geospatial discipline
- Work collaboratively with Regional Delivery Leaders (RDLs) to ensure technical excellence is embedded into project delivery
- Establish and communicate discipline-specific technical standards
- Promote consistent QA/QC processes and technical review practices across projects
- Provide technical oversight and guidance on complex or high-risk projects
- Work closely with delivery leadership to ensure appropriate technical expertise is applied to projects
- Support project teams by facilitating access to appropriate technical capabilities
- Contribute to major pursuits and key project reviews
- Build and lead a connected, high-performing technical community across the discipline
- Drive adoption of digital tools and innovative delivery approaches
- Represent the organization in industry forums and promote thought leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline
- Typically 15+ years of relevant experience
- Recognized technical expertise within an infrastructure discipline (Geospatial)
- Proven experience in complex project delivery and technical leadership
- Demonstrated ability to lead across regions and influence without direct authority
