About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Daily oversight and supervision of site inspector(s) for assigned projects
- Monitoring construction activities, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality standards are met
- Reviews requests for payment draws from Contractors and prepares payment certifications
- Communicates recommendations to the Project Manager, Client, and design team
- Prepares documents and maintains file management of project-related information
Requirements
What you’ll need- Working knowledge of local and provincial building codes, construction principles, techniques, and procedures
- Commitment to problem-solving quickly and efficiently
- Ability to prepare and interpret sketches, drawings, and similar material
- Strong organizational skills and scheduling understanding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with watermains, sewers, and/or tunnelling, open cut and CPP construction projects
- Technical degree/diploma/certificate in the construction industry or equivalent in a contract administration role
