About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Reporting to the Project Delivery Business Leader (PDBL)
Accountable for advancing technical excellence, strengthening quality, and building technical capability across the Bridges discipline within the Infrastructure BOU
Collaborate with Regional Delivery Leaders (RDLs) to ensure technical excellence is embedded into project delivery
Establish and communicate discipline-specific technical standards aligned with regulations and industry best practices
Promote consistent application of QA/QC processes, design standards, and technical review practices across projects
Provide technical oversight and guidance on complex or high-risk projects
Integrate technical expertise into project delivery in collaboration with delivery leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline
Typically 15+ years of relevant experience
Recognized technical expertise within an infrastructure discipline (Bridges)
Proven experience in complex project delivery and technical leadership
Demonstrated ability to lead across regions and influence without direct authority
Position will primarily work in an office setting
Occasional business travel will be required
