About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Reporting to the Project Delivery Business Leader (PDBL)
  • Accountable for advancing technical excellence, strengthening quality, and building technical capability across the Bridges discipline within the Infrastructure BOU
  • Collaborate with Regional Delivery Leaders (RDLs) to ensure technical excellence is embedded into project delivery
  • Establish and communicate discipline-specific technical standards aligned with regulations and industry best practices
  • Promote consistent application of QA/QC processes, design standards, and technical review practices across projects
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance on complex or high-risk projects
  • Integrate technical expertise into project delivery in collaboration with delivery leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline
  • Typically 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Recognized technical expertise within an infrastructure discipline (Bridges)
  • Proven experience in complex project delivery and technical leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to lead across regions and influence without direct authority
  • Position will primarily work in an office setting
  • Occasional business travel will be required
