About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and analyze engineering designs and specifications to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and regulations
Collaborate with project teams and communicate technical concepts effectively to achieve client expectations and project goals
Assist in planning, implementing, and completing projects, ensuring effective application of scope requirements, management of time, quality reviews, and effective communications with team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficient use of MicroStation V8i, Open Roads
Ability to use or familiarity with AutoCad is a plus
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
Experience and knowledge of AASHTO and WVDOH and/or VDOT design directives and specifications
Experience and knowledge of WVDOH and/or VDOT roadway and right of way deliverables
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a related degree
Minimum of four (4) years of transportation design experience
West Virginia Professional Engineer (P.E.) Registration or ability to obtain P.E. within 1 year required
