About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and analyze engineering designs and specifications to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and regulations
- Collaborate with project teams and communicate technical concepts effectively to achieve client expectations and project goals
- Assist in planning, implementing, and completing projects, ensuring effective application of scope requirements, management of time, quality reviews, and effective communications with team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficient use of MicroStation V8i, Open Roads
- Ability to use or familiarity with AutoCad is a plus
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience and knowledge of AASHTO and WVDOH and/or VDOT design directives and specifications
- Experience and knowledge of WVDOH and/or VDOT roadway and right of way deliverables
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a related degree
- Minimum of four (4) years of transportation design experience
- West Virginia Professional Engineer (P.E.) Registration or ability to obtain P.E. within 1 year required
