About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure work compliance with plans and specifications;
  • Monitor nighttime closures in the Greater Montreal area and prepare the site diary;
  • Compile and reconcile the work completed by the contractor;
  • Verify the contractor’s work methods;
  • Maintain a safe work environment;
  • Track and manage non-conformities related to traffic maintenance;
  • Communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders;
  • Represent the client’s interests;
  • Enforce road signage standards in accordance with TOME V.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in traffic maintenance;
  • Secondary V diploma (high school diploma or equivalent);
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a car;
  • Autonomy and resourcefulness;
  • Analytical and integration skills;
  • Knowledge of transportation and/or traffic disciplines;
  • Knowledge of MTQ standards and guidelines;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
  • STC-102 and STC-202 training certificates;
  • General construction site health and safety course (ASP construction);
  • Good verbal and written communication in French; English is an asset;
  • A civil engineering technician diploma would be an asset.
