About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish and maintain effective working collaborations and proactive partnerships with internal client groups, including staff, managers and senior leaders
  • Act as a change catalyst by ensuring that changes introduced by various initiatives at the organizational, role and process levels are successfully communicated, implemented and sustained
  • Participate in defining, controlling and communicating change management, training and continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure the business continuity activities required for the operation of the company’s integrated management system
  • Identify challenges arising from the application of corporate practices by operations and provide guidance and expertise to help develop creative solutions, assist in managing corrective and preventive actions, and support the understanding and management of risks, opportunities and subcontractors
  • Detect and integrate changes within the organization that impact the integrated management system and support operations in implementing concepts that will ensure compliance
  • Conduct project audits, participate in internal and external audits, and respond to information requests from various internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide training, mentoring and coaching on the company’s integrated management system
  • Participate in the integration of new businesses

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College diploma or equivalent experience in fields such as engineering, business administration, operations management, project management, change management, or quality management/improvement
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of standards (ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001) and their objectives and impacts within an organization
  • Proficiency in spoken and written French
  • Knowledge of English is an asset to facilitate collaboration between Stantec’s internal teams or with clients
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize information
  • Strong interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication abilities
  • Highly collaborative mindset and ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Recognized professional known for autonomy, availability, initiative and rigor
  • Proficiency with SharePoint tools (an asset)
