  • Make sound technical and project delivery decisions
  • Work collaboratively with project leaders, architects, design partners, and contractors
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and best practices
  • Conduct site visits and inspections
  • Prepare detailed design documents, specifications, and reports
  • Mentor and develop engineers and project leaders
  • Lead continuous improvement of project delivery processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 12+ years of experience in delivering electrical engineering designs within the healthcare sector
  • Proven success leading complex healthcare projects and multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated successful experience supervising, mentoring, and developing a unit or group of full-time employees (up to 5)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong understanding and application of project management principles
  • Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (California building codes, HCAI/OSHPD regulations, UL, NFPA, IEEE requirements)
  • Current experience and familiarity with HCAI design for Acute and Non-Acute environments
  • Functional knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
