About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise and coordinate the timely development of multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules
Collaborate with other estimators on cost estimates and construction schedules
Validate material takeoffs and construction quantities from drawings
Develop estimate execution plans outlining estimating strategy, scope assumptions
Prepare basis of cost estimate report deliverables
Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive technical knowledge of cost/estimating, construction practice, and engineering design
Experience with major public infrastructure programs
Estimating expertise in mass earthwork, deep foundation systems, waterfront structures, bulkheads, bridges or large scale heavy civil work
Advanced understanding of different contract methods
Experience with Sage Timberline Estimating, On-Screen Take-Off, MCASES MII, IPE, HCSS or other databased estimating platforms
Experience with scheduling software like Primavera P6 or MS Project
Ability to travel for site reconnaissance and client interfacing
Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in an estimating and construction role
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field
