About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the electrical design and engineering portions of all phases of assigned projects
Apply engineering knowledge and professional judgement to plan, size, evaluate, select, and specify electrical systems
Conduct field investigations and liaise with clients
Carry out detailed planning studies and prepare design calculations
Author technical reports and deliver presentations to stakeholders
Lead development of construction packages
Estimate construction costs and support construction
Participate in commissioning and contribute to business development activities
Act as an Engineer-of-Record for projects
Oversee and manage multiple projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
Professional Engineering license is required
Eligibility for a Professional Engineering license in the State of Arizona and / or Southwestern US states
15 years of engineering, design, and construction experience in heavy industry or surface or underground mining
Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work and collaborate with a range of internal and external customers
