About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Align appropriate resources and technical support for project backlog and business development opportunities
- Partner with team members to proactively resolve personnel, resourcing, and project-related issues
- Provide day-to-day people leadership, including performance management, coaching, and recruitment
- Lead the annual performance review process for direct reports
- Contribute technical expertise to environmental services projects
- Support planning, execution, and monitoring of projects
- Assist in meeting or exceeding budgeted net revenue targets
- Support staff integration and collaboration across disciplines
- Champion a strong safety culture and support training initiatives
- Work from the office a minimum of three days per week
- Travel to other offices as business needs require
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Hands-on leadership or people management experience in a project-based setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid problem-solving, organizational, collaboration, and coordination skills
- Degree or diploma in Environmental Science or a related field
- 5+ years of consulting or related experience in Site Investigation and Remediation
- Proven experience managing environmental projects and teams
- Familiarity with project management frameworks, HSSE, and QA/QC processes
