About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Pursue a growth agenda by identifying growth opportunities for the Texas Water business.
Maintain awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, and new industry developments.
Collaborate to consistently win new work within the Water business line.
Develop and manage the Texas marketing and business development plan for municipal and state water markets.
Lead and implement business development strategies for key municipal and state water clients and strategic pursuits.
Contribute to the development of our regional business strategy with a focus on growing municipal and state water markets in Texas.
Sustaining and growing revenue within our primary business sectors to achieve top line growth.
Pursue and lead strategic pursuits in the Texas geography.
Project delivery oversight of complex water projects.
Talent recruitment, development, and mentoring.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong Texas municipal and state water market knowledge and demonstrated account management performance.
Strong business development skills with an entrepreneurial orientation, including experience developing and maintaining productive relationships with a client base.
Successful experience in responding to Requests for Qualifications, Requests for Proposals and Statements of Qualifications.
Strong leadership, team building and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex water projects with an emphasis on technical and project delivery excellence.
Passion for water related projects.
United States Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Prior to employment, this position will require the successful passing of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
BS in a professional discipline with at least 15 years of professional experience in related fields. Licensed professional engineer, preferable.
