About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Keeps the Project Manager informed of progress on expectations, deadlines, and deliverables that fall within their responsibility
Participate in team meetings, charrettes and coordination sessions
Assists in monitoring and coordination of consultant work and deadlines
Assist project teams in the development of a design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats
Utilize Autodesk Revit and other BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of buildings and their components
Prepare and revises documentation in various architectural phases including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, and details
Coordinate building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure compatibility with the design intent
Assist in contract administration tasks
Attend project coordination and meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants
Implement sustainable design principles into the building design and surrounding environment
Assist in site analysis, research of concept, benchmarks, typology, and precedents

Requirements

What you’ll need

Capable of simultaneously supporting multiple Project Managers on multiple projects
General understanding of accessibility codes, life-safety codes, building construction systems, means and methods, materials, and industry associated standards
Comfortable working independently and takes direction well, however, proactively takes appropriate action without requiring continued direction
Manages multiple deadlines and priorities
Team player with the client, entire project team and contractor
Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, InDesign and Photoshop; Prefer experience with Enscape, SketchUP, Newforma
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
3-7 years of experience
LEED Green Associate or LEED AP desired but not required
