About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design sanitary, storm, and watermain projects
Manage project technical tasks including design work, calculations, and writing specifications
Coordinate design and report deliverables for clients and approval authorities
Attend meetings with clients and team members
Implement industry standards and client requirements
Prepare engineering documents and contract documents
Assist in reviewing shop drawings and submittals
Participate in cost estimating under technical leaders' direction

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Minimum of five years of related work experience
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Demonstrated efficient task management and technical execution of assigned tasks on multiple concurrent projects
Broad understanding of municipal engineering and site development design
General understanding of various construction means and methods
Requisite knowledge of design and construction codes
Strong understanding of project document production phases
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Strong presentation and communication skills
