About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design sanitary, storm, and watermain projects
  • Manage project technical tasks including design work, calculations, and writing specifications
  • Coordinate design and report deliverables for clients and approval authorities
  • Attend meetings with clients and team members
  • Implement industry standards and client requirements
  • Prepare engineering documents and contract documents
  • Assist in reviewing shop drawings and submittals
  • Participate in cost estimating under technical leaders' direction

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Minimum of five years of related work experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Demonstrated efficient task management and technical execution of assigned tasks on multiple concurrent projects
  • Broad understanding of municipal engineering and site development design
  • General understanding of various construction means and methods
  • Requisite knowledge of design and construction codes
  • Strong understanding of project document production phases
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
