Requirements

What you’ll need

Diverse background in mining projects.
Experience designing and analyzing projects using various economic and financial methodologies.
Experience developing new clients and relationships.
Experience with outputs of a mine plan and analyzing the resulting financial implications of different parameters.
Strong technical and business writing skills, organizational skills, technical leadership abilities, oral communication skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to work and make decisions independently.
Demonstrated successful experience to initiate and maintain relationships with local staff and key staff from other locations within Stantec, as well as with existing and prospective clients.
You have a willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
20+ years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering and/or mineral economics, or a related field.
You have strong technical skills in conducting mineral market studies, economic and financial evaluation of mining projects, mineral valuations, mining development strategies, risk analysis, and mining advisory.
You have experience representing a company at conferences.
You have experience developing proposals and managing projects.
