Key responsibilities & impact

Provide expert guidance in design and optimization of mine-impacted water treatment systems, including conceptual process design, physicochemical process modeling, and innovative treatment strategies
Advise and assist project teams in planning and executing bench-scale treatability studies and pilot plant testing, evaluating results to refine treatment approaches and ensure solutions meet stringent environmental standards.
Serve as a senior technical reviewer for reports, designs, and proposals related to water treatment processes, ensuring technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with industry best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of a 4-year degree required
Masters or PhD preferred.
Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in mine water or industrial wastewater treatment engineering, including strong proficiency in physicochemical modeling, chemical process optimization, and design of large-scale water treatment systems.
Demonstrated ability to provide high-level technical counsel, led by influence, and collaborate effectively with diverse project teams. Excellent communication skills for technical mentoring and stakeholder engagement.
