Sector Marketing Manager – Airports, Civic, Arts & Culture
StantecSector Marketing Manager providing marketing management and strategic expertise to leadership teams. Developing and delivering marketing and business development plans for the sector.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides marketing management and strategic expertise to the Sector leadership team
- Develop and deliver the annual integrated marketing and business development plan
- Work with regional/local leadership and practitioners to establish desired market position
- Identify market opportunities and create comprehensive marketing strategies
- Lead awards strategy for the sector, including identifying important programs
- Create sector-specific marketing collateral
- Provide sector marketing strategy for targeted publications, social media, digital campaigns, etc.
- Lead tradeshow/conference presence and marketing strategy
- Collaborate with Public Relations to elevate the sector and Stantec brand
- Support pursuit decision-making and client engagement strategies
- Demonstrate teamwork with various leadership teams
- Function as a knowledge resource and marketing strategy leader
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong knowledge and understanding of marketing and business development best practice
- Detail oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills
- Ability to effectively balance conflicting priorities
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior management, supervisors, peers, and clients, internally and externally
- Commitment to client service and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge in the use of desktop publishing software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
- Strong presentation skills in small or large group environments, with proficiency in presentation support tools (e.g., PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated proficiency with web-based tools and Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Awareness that ongoing training may involve professional development courses in the evenings or on weekends
- Awareness that attendance of trade and industry association events, and networking with marketing peers at identified teaming partner firms could be required
- Post-Secondary in business, sales and/or marketing
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in a senior marketing role in a medium to large-sized organization.
