About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure projects meet schedules, quality standards and budget, and that necessary project resources are properly planned;
  • Validate required expertise and skill levels in advance according to project needs;
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure the availability of technical resources;
  • Ensure a clear understanding of the needs of different clients: direct clients (owners, contractors, etc.), independent certifiers or the end client;
  • With support from technical teams, ensure that the design and execution of the work meet client expectations and uphold our project management methodology;
  • Work closely and constructively with clients on contract changes and negotiations when necessary to ensure profitable project delivery;
  • Mentor involved teams and support employee development.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
  • 15 years of relevant experience managing major projects;
  • Demonstrated leadership, ability to work collaboratively and to prioritize urgent matters;
  • Ability to manage multiple files in parallel and to meet tight deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
