About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Meets with clients to review industry trends and guide discussions to develop client and project specific basis of design
Develop system designs for Audio Visual systems under minimal supervision
Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists as required by project timelines
Prepares and manages project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work
Follows quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submitting to QA/QC reviewer
Performs QA/QC reviews for junior team members
Participates in engineering/professional community for knowledge and professional growth
Supports project manager in maintaining project scope, schedule, and budget

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep understanding of engineering practices within the Audio Visual discipline
Extensive knowledge of commonly used and accepted design and construction concepts, practices, procedures
Able to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and specifications, technical procedures, and government regulations
Proficient in applicable software (i.e. REVIT, AutoCAD, Bluebeam)
Knowledge of ASIS standards and best practices
Background experience in Mission Critical Facilities
Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required
AVIXA CTS-D certification is desired
7-10 years related industry experience preferred
