About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Bring deep knowledge and thought leadership to support the engineering team
Review junior engineer’s drawings, specifications, and other deliverables
Apply buildings engineering and project management knowledge on key projects
Act as a QC and/or Independent Technical reviewer on Electrical Engineering projects
Develop and support a team of electrical engineers
Hold team members accountable for technical excellence and delivery standards
Manage quality control processes for Electrical Engineering projects
Ensure compliance with best practices and maintain awareness of operational changes in the industry

Requirements

What you’ll need

Comprehensive understanding of building project components, project management and delivery systems
Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards
Strong technical understanding of building systems for Healthcare, Science and Technology, Commercial/Workplace
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Fundamental understanding of NFPA codes as they apply to hospitals and medical office buildings
Deep knowledge of fire alarm and detection systems and healthcare technology systems
Experience in identifying and managing project risks
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
25+ years of related professional experience
Professional Engineering license required
