About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborating with project engineers and project managers to assist in planning, design, CAD drafting/modeling.
Working with clients to identify project goals and priorities and providing strategies.
Determining criteria, loads, and boundary conditions for the mechanical design of turbines and/or generators.
Performing quality control and designing inspection & test plans throughout the manufacturing process of the equipment.
Attending and witnessing installation and commissioning of equipment.
Performing field measurements and condition assessment of equipment.
Identifying deficiencies, performing root cause analyses, and developing options for the remediation of deficiencies.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Mechanical Engineering degree required.
Professional engineering license is preferred.
5-10 years experience required.
Previous industrial safety training such as Confined Space certification or other OSHA training is a plus, but not required.
The ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, climbing up ladders, and crawling in tight spaces.
The capacity to occasionally lift and/or move items up to 40 pounds.
Mandatory use of required personal protection equipment for field work.
The ability and willingness to travel on company business as required for domestic and international assignments.
