Key responsibilities & impact

Provides technical design and leadership for a wide range of projects
Leads technical design, execution, and delivery of projects
Responsible for a wide range of project types, sizes, and complexities
Plans and manages technical work and staffing within the group
Participates in virtual and in-person project meetings
Follows quality management processes; conducts project reviews and approvals
Maintains strong client relations; monitors performance; implements improvements
Acts as supervisor and resource to technical design team
Manages Stantec’s technical project process and scope of work

Requirements

What you’ll need

Comprehensive knowledge of engineering practices and principles in own discipline
Basic knowledge of practices and principles in other disciplines
Able to conceptualize and develop solutions for multifaceted systems
Strong technical and analytical skills
Proficient in applicable software (ie, REVIT and CAD)
Strong communicator who effectively conveys scope, schedule, and budget
Adept at writing comprehensive reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals
Equipped to analyze, problem solve, and train others
Organized and attentive to detail
Flexible and collaborative
Registered Structural Engineer (SE) license or other professional license or certification required
Accredited engineering degree or equivalent education and experience required
Minimum 10 years related industry experience
