About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Represent Stantec to internal and external audiences from a community engagement (CE) perspective
Lead strategic Corporate community engagement including management of all activities associated with successful operations
Support and activate Corporate funding strategy including partnership development
Oversight of global programs, partnerships, and employee engagement initiatives
Align community engagement efforts with business priorities
Drive team engagement and support corporate led priorities
Own and optimize the Benevity platform
Develop and deliver regular reporting on community engagement performance
Ensure consistency and accuracy of data across systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Social Sciences, Sustainability, Nonprofit Management, or a related field is preferred
6+ years of progressive experience with community engagement, corporate philanthropy, CSR/ESG, nonprofit partnerships, employee engagement, or related fields
A superior “customers first” business orientation comfortable working with all levels within our organization
Demonstrated understanding of strategic corporate philanthropy, employee engagement and corporate volunteerism
Strong project management skills and experience collaborating across functions
