About the role

  • Work with guidance and direction on tasks and smaller projects
  • Conduct basic interpretations of drawings, codes, and other similar materials
  • Perform Revit and/or AutoCAD design for the mechanical and plumbing disciplines
  • Coordinate with architectural, interior, and other engineering disciplines
  • Provide field observation reports
  • Perform basic calculations to analyze and design individual building mechanical system components
  • Assist with engineering duties on projects of various complexity
  • Collect data and gather information to support design decisions

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of Revit and AutoCad
  • Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering concepts
  • Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, building program and other similar material
  • Ability to take direction, follow process and accept feedback from Senior Engineers
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD; Prefer experience with Newforma, Trane Trace & IES
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering
  • Industry-specific co-op/Internship experience preferred
  • EIT / FE certification preferred
  • Must have valid driver's license and clean MVR
