About the role
- Work with guidance and direction on tasks and smaller projects
- Conduct basic interpretations of drawings, codes, and other similar materials
- Perform Revit and/or AutoCAD design for the mechanical and plumbing disciplines
- Coordinate with architectural, interior, and other engineering disciplines
- Provide field observation reports
- Perform basic calculations to analyze and design individual building mechanical system components
- Assist with engineering duties on projects of various complexity
- Collect data and gather information to support design decisions
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Revit and AutoCad
- Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting
- Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering concepts
- Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, building program and other similar material
- Ability to take direction, follow process and accept feedback from Senior Engineers
- Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD; Prefer experience with Newforma, Trane Trace & IES
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering
- Industry-specific co-op/Internship experience preferred
- EIT / FE certification preferred
- Must have valid driver's license and clean MVR
