About the role
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, and masonry structures for high-tech facilities
- Develop structural calculations, design packages, construction documents, and technical specifications
- Support all phases of project execution—from programming and schematic design to construction documents and construction administration
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical, electrical, and process engineers
- Ensure designs are code-compliant (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.) and meet industry and client-specific standards
- Conduct site investigations and field assessments to support design and troubleshooting
- Review submittals and RFIs; participate in construction oversight and project close-out
- Engage with clients and project stakeholders to incorporate feedback and ensure structural integrity meets operational needs
Requirements
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license is preferred
- Proficiency in structural analysis and modeling software (e.g., RISA, ETABS, SAP2000, Revit, AutoCAD)
- Strong understanding of structural systems in industrial, high-tech, or cleanroom facilities is a major plus
- Knowledge of seismic and wind design, especially in high-risk seismic zones
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects and deadlines
- Willingness to travel/work on client project site
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 5 years of experience in structural engineering design and coordination
- Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer license required
