About the role

  • Interpret and translate the needs and desires of a client into cohesive interior design solutions.
  • Lead and mentor others in a multidisciplinary, team-based environment.
  • Produce drawings (2D/3D) and written material to support conceptual direction of interior design and FFE.
  • Present ideas in formal and informal settings, incorporating feedback.
  • Collaborate with the team on varying aspects of interior design, including space planning and specifications.
  • Serve as a champion for innovation and transformation, influencing a growth mindset.
  • Participate in strategic business development for the Interior group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Interior Design or related field is required.
  • Licensed Interior Designer is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • LEED Green Associate or LEED AP is preferred.
  • Advanced experience in Revit and the use of it as a design tool.
  • Experience with the most recent design software (Sketch-up, Rhino, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, etc.) is preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of lighting/fixtures.
  • Advanced understanding of FFE and specifications.
  • Advanced understanding of client's expectations of deliverables at different phases of projects including construction documents.
  • Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite; prefer experience with Newforma.
