About the role
- Preparation of Forms for upload to regulatory website
- Report Writing
- Field support for soil and groundwater site investigation and remediation projects
- Tracking submittals and subsequent due dates
- Soil and Groundwater monitoring / sampling
- Data evaluation, coordinating with GIS team to generate figures, and reporting
- Communicate daily with the project team and clients as needed
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- Position requires strict adherence to health and safety procedures, attention to detail, good work ethic, and a passion for high quality workmanship
- Excellent organizational skills, combined with the ability and flexibility to work in a dynamic, challenging and fast paced environment
- The ability to travel up to 25% of the time is required
- Good driving record and valid driver’s license required
- Bachelor’s degree in physical science, geology or engineering required
- 4 to 7 years of experience in natural resources consulting and/or Oil and Gas sector experience in Colorado is preferred
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and/or associated yearly 8-hour refresher course preferred
- Experience with soil and groundwater sampling protocol preferred
- Experience with operation and maintenance of various field sampling and monitoring equipment preferred
- Experience with contaminated land investigations and remediation, environmental due diligence with Phase I ESA and Phase II ESA experience, RCRA, borehole logging experience using USCS protocol preferred
