About the role
- Manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Collect project requirements and coordinate design with the project team as well as collaborate to deliver fully coordinated construction documents.
- Participate in all phases of the project from concept through construction completion.
- Advance the design and develop documentation (drawings, specifications, narratives, reports, cut sheets, calculations, etc.).
- Attend meetings and present design packages to clients.
- Perform site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists as required by project timelines.
- Empower ICT team to succeed and establish metrics for accountability for project requirements.
- Cross level ICT team to maintain positive utilization.
- Follow and enforce quality management process; review project deliverables before submitting.
- Help provide request for proposal review and provide input on level of effort to complete for proposal development.
- Other duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Familiarity of relevant industry standards and best practices.
- Experienced with the A/E delivery process.
- Ability to accurately interpret design/construction documents (Civil, Structural, MEP, Architectural, Technology).
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and time constraints.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Must have proven results in time management and organizational skills.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Experience with the following technology: Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel), AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and other software packages as required to deliver.
- This position will require you to submit to and successfully pass the requirements for a security clearance.
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) is required.
- PSP or CSP Certification is beneficial but not required.
- 10 plus years of experience in the design of Communications Systems and a thorough understanding of communications systems design.
