Engineer

• Contribute to small-scale projects and support larger initiatives under mentorship of senior engineers and designers
• Perform civil design using relevant software programs
• Work with other engineering disciplines and professionals to coordinate projects under direction of senior engineer/designer
• Perform field work as directed by senior engineer/designer
• Perform basic calculations to analyze and design civil system components using company standard and proprietary manufacturer software
• Assist with engineering duties on projects of various complexity and with collecting data to support design decisions
• Assist in basic interpretation and verifying compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices
• Analyze proposed project solutions to ensure structural reliability, resource efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Construct models to identify project specifications and perform routing aspects of engineering assignments
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior engineering staff
