Business Analyst

• Engage with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate their business needs into system solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders, leading workshops, modeling processes, identifying pain-points and improvement opportunities, eliciting business requirements, and assisting with testing and organizational change management
• Understand client business needs
• Analyze business processes to identify pain-points, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
• Conduct workshops to elicit business requirements
• Document information using tools such as MS Office suite and Confluence
• Assist with product assessments and vendor selections
• Facilitate user acceptance testing and participate in testing activities such as test case creation, execution, and issue resolution
• Support cross-functional programs and projects that may include IT, Payroll, Project Accounting, and other areas
• Follow BPM practices and guidelines
• Work with colleagues to improve those practices and guidelines
• Assist with day-to-day operational issues
• Adhere to Stantec policies and practices
