Transportation Engineer
Stanley ConsultantsTransportation Engineer providing engineering expertise for roadway projects in Florida. Collaborating with clients and managing project design processes for transportation infrastructure.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Roadway design and 3D modeling.
- Preparation of detailed maintenance of traffic plans.
- Prepares and checks design computations, design plans, and quantity estimates.
- Use of computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
- Coordination with regulatory agencies, utility companies and sub-consultants to obtain information, guidance, and requirements.
- Coordinate the design of projects with a team of engineers and designers.
- Project management experience and skills, including management of schedules and budgets, are a plus.
- Attends onsite and offsite client meetings.
- Adhere to company standards for quality assurance and quality control as defined in the quality manual.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Must possess 3 to 5 years of relevant transportation engineering work experience designing roadway projects, ideally for the Florida Department of Transportation
- Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred)
- Senior level EI’s ( ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Proficient with Microstation Open Roads Designer
- Strong oral communication and technical writing skills
