About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist attorneys and legal professionals with the company’s global litigation docket, disputes, and other matters
- Conduct legal research and gather information supporting litigation strategies
- Prepare, review, organize, and file pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, motions, and trial documents
- Maintain and organize legal files, records, and databases while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Draft and edit correspondence, memos, and reports
- Coordinate meetings, depositions, hearings, appointments, and other legal proceedings
- Communicate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate legal processes
- Monitor and track regulatory changes relevant to company operations
- Provide general administrative support to the Global Litigation Group
- Perform other duties and special projects assigned by Legal Team leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certificate from an accredited program, or in process of obtaining same
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Deep knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation processes
- Extensive experience with legal research, case management, and e-discovery tools and software
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and in a timely manner
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Desire to learn new things
