About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Achieve top-line sales targets based on division and region goals & objectives
- Assemble full-year plans to minimally grow the business double digit over prior year
- Manage key account relationships including ownership, management, marketing, and sales
- Work cross-functionally with distribution sales teams, product marketing, finance, etc.
- Cultivate customer relationships in an assigned region to drive incremental growth
- Activate national channel and brand marketing strategies in the field
- Provide competitive intelligence on competitive activity in the market
- Manage SG&A budgets along with promotional budgets, event executions, planning and forecasting
- Ensure proper and effective use of CRM (Salesforce)
- Analyze performance metrics data and leverage it to effectively coach the Sales Support team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree required (Business Management preferred)
- 10+ years of direct sales or distribution sales experience
- Experience selling to high-level executives, C-Suite, and jobsite directors
- 5 years of direct managerial experience
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively with all levels of an organization
- Financial Acumen: thorough knowledge of building and executing a budget
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite and use of a smartphone
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time regionally
