About the role
- Become the product expert for Oscillating Accessories & Jig Saw Blade product lines with full product line responsibility and P&L.
- Maintain awareness of trends in the industry, distribution/route to market, and end user needs.
- Work with End-Users & Consumer Insights Teams to capture, assess and translate the Voice of the Consumer into actionable programs.
- Manage the complete product lifecycle alongside North American Product Engineering, Operations and Global Commercial teams from concept to delivery.
- Support Operations in the domestic manufacturing facility: problem solving, identifying growth requirements, and productivity targets while striving for optimum service level.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for pricing and gross margin management.
- Prepare for customer meetings, line reviews, product trainings, and act as point of contact for Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, Quality, Engineering & Brand teams.
- Assist in leading cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Administration in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field required.
- 3+ years’ experience of product management experience.
- Ability to work effectively across functions and lead teams; must be able to present data and conclusions in an organized manner.
- Experience working in a Manufacturing environment or closely with a Manufacturing Plant is a nice to have.
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically.
