About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Report to the Sr. Manager – MRO & Facilities.
Lead the strategic sourcing of MRO parts across Americas.
Develop and implement category-specific sourcing strategies.
Analyze current procurement and contractual situations.
Collaborate with plant managers and finance controllers.
Coordinate with global and regional MRO category leads.
Oversee Total Cost of Ownership value creation.
Support and manage MRO procurement needs for manufacturing footprint.
Develop and implement global MRO category strategies.
Drive year-over-year productivity improvements for a spend category.
Consolidate a supply base of 100+ suppliers.
Select suppliers and lead negotiations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
5-12 years of strategic sourcing experience.
3-5+ years of direct experience in MRO category management.
Demonstrated ability to develop, sell, and implement category strategies.
Skilled in managing complex commercial and contractual negotiations.
Experience driving change at the plant level.
Strong balance of strategic and operational capabilities.
Global mindset with experience working in international environments.
Proficient in advanced sourcing techniques.
Comfortable working in a high-paced environment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to influence without direct authority.
